I knew one thing: I couldn't support industrial animal farming anymore. Yet, I had no idea how to craft a plant-based diet without compromising my health.  

 

Years ago, I saw a glimpse of the truth of industrial animal farming. Emotionally swamped, I felt a strong inner conflict. I shielded myself from this ugly truth. A plant-based diet seemed too extreme and restrictive. Further, no one I knew understood the depth of my conflict. I felt alone. Everyone seemed aware of the truth, yet unaffected.


The desire to change my diet stayed - the conviction of not knowing enough about nutrition held me back. I felt powerless. Overwhelmed and helpless, I copied meal plans I found online. They were healthy and balanced, but I could never stick to them long. 


After multiple failed attempts, I realized that I had to find a way that worked for ME and my body. Free from labels.

 

I gathered all the information I could find. By doing so, I had to let go of inner beliefs about nutrition and health. Self-investment led me to my path. A diet mirroring values, nurturing health, liberating rather than limiting.

I chose action, heeding my heart's call. I stepped into my power and made a choice that felt right for me. It was the beginning of a journey - a journey that revealed boundless potential and kindled joy, grounding, and confidence. Now, I'm feeling at home in my body - nourishing both its essence and spirit.
